몽니 have a mix of indie and rock in their music with some songs taking a ballad approach to the vocals even if the song overall might not fit the genre.
Over the fourteen songs, I would have to say that 몽니 play a “stereotypical” Korean indie sound. That’s not to downplay how good the album is even after a year, rather it’s a great place for new listeners to start with the band.
The music loves the tempo and tone that it plays at. There is no sense of rushed or unprepared notes on any of the songs. The pacing is perfect because it hits so many great points with different styles and sound.
This Moment might be one of the best starting points of Korean indie.
