April 20th was the first day of Spring and I don’t know about our readers but around where I live, it has been snowing non-stop and I am just about ready to greet Spring with two arms open. Although a bit late, I wanted to share some of the songs I’ve found that were deemed as perfect in creating the perfect atmosphere in preparation for the warm weather.

Here are 5 songs that I highly recommend you add to your own Spring Playlist.

1. Acoustic Collabo (어쿠스틱 콜라보) : “그대와 나, 설레임” Feat. Soulman

The Song: Signature acoustic guitar sound with husky vocals perfect for a spring outing.
The Narrative: An awkward crush stage to professing their love for one another.

2. J Rabbit : “Happy Things”

The Song: Bouncy piano melody and light snapping to the beat accompanied by resonating vocals.
The Narrative: List of the little things that will make you happy.

3. W(Where the Story Ends) : “Shocking Pink Rose”

The Song: Electronic beats.
The Narrative: A direct and intimate love story between a man and a woman.
Interesting Fact: Used as one of the OSTs for the hit drama, My Name is Kim Sam Soon.

4. Peppertones (페퍼톤스) : “공원여행”

The Song: Uplifting beats accompanied by a female vocal. (Note: includes a whistle breakdown)
The Narrative: Getting back on track with your life after moments of what seemed to be a never-ending slump by experiencing the beauty that is around you as you stroll along the nearest park.

5. Glen Check : “Young Generation”

The Song: Straight dance- electronic beats
The Narrative: Youth of today blasting music, enjoying the sunlight and the opportunities ahead (WOO!)
