I originally announced that the Korean Indie Online Store would be opening in July, which then got pushed back to August. Now I’m not sure if the store will open on time.

To be honest, I’m not sure when the store is officially going to open because I’m waiting for one specific piece of paper from the city of Berkeley in California.

It’s this piece of paper that will let me open the store and start selling the Korean Indie merch. If you’ve been following the updates, you would know that the site is now under Korean Indie, LLC. This involved a lot of paperwork and time to get the official company setup. The next step was establishing the company as a business following Berkeley city laws.

All the steps have been followed, but I’m waiting for the business license so everything is in order. Honestly, I would love to sell the merch that I’ve been sitting on for the past month. It’s taking up a lot of room. But in these early stages, I need to follow all the rules to make sure that the launch is done properly.

The online store will be a way to recoup a lot of the startup costs as well as provide funds to re-order more merchandise.

So whenever you comment that you want to get buy something, now you know why I can’t point you in the direction of the store.

As of right now, I’m just waiting on that piece of mail.
