It’s been a crazy year. Korean Indie becoming Korean Indie, LLC. The online store finally opening. A new set of contributing writers. With all these improvements, Korean Indie will be taking a break starting tomorrow until January 4, 2015. That doesn’t mean there won’t be any new posts on the site, there is still Rachel’s picks for the best of 2014, some scheduled reviews, and the readers pick for the best album of 2014; but there won’t be regular content until we all return next year.

support your international korean band

We’re going to take this time to recharge and plan the next year. This includes whatever Seoulsonic 2K15 has planned, more tours that get announced, and bigger editorial content. Also next year we will definitely need your support with my plans to go to SXSW with Xtian and Rachel. There will be a couple of fundraisers to help get us out there, but be assured that we will be covering every Korean band that plans on attending next year’s festival.

Thank you for your support this past year and the massive amount of transitions that happened. And thanks to all the bands that continue to release music and take the time to answer our interviews.

Honestly, we can’t do it without you.
