Listening to Dear Cloud’s second album, Grey, was released in 2008 and has some of the best melodies of any Korean indie rock album. The vocals are smooth and mix with the instrumentals perfectly.

The eleven track album has a somewhat Nell-eqsue sound to it, but since I’m a big fan of Nell; there is no slight in the comparison. I had listened to Grey some time before, but it took listening to Bright Lights, their third album, to really go back and listen to the older tracks.

Grey is a bit slower, favoring tempos that move at a walking pace, but each song feels right at home. Grey is a great album. One worth listening to for indie fans.
