Moruka Releases My Fingerprints, an Album of Bass, Hard Drum, Jungle, and Breakcore

It’s always great to see more artists debuting with full lengths, as opposed to singles. It gives the listener a lot more to grab and devour. And the artist gives a full introduction to their style and work.

Moruka is a DJ and producer who’s been a regular on Visla FM and also participated in SSAP: KIRARA‘s Just Release an Album project. Other artists like Seo’s Room and Yoni Berri were prior participants.

In this case, My Fingerprints, is less of an introduction and more like presenting a complete statement via album. Her style is an intersection of bass, hard drum, jungle, and breakcore which means you’re likely never going to get bored of the beats.

My Fingerprints encapsulates Moruka’s musical language, where bass music, jungle, breakcore, and hardstyle intersect. From the explosive opening of “o0O” to the tension within the silence of “Breath” and the meditative echoes of “Rain,” the album oscillates between the heat of the dancefloor and moments of auditory introspection. A music video for the track “52Hertz Whale” has also been produced and released on Moruka’s YouTube channel.
This album release marks a continuation of Moruka’s active career, which includes live and DJ performances at major domestic festivals and clubs—such as opening for KIRARA, DMZ Peace Train, Maker’s Mark, and Cakeshop—as well as consistent appearances on international radio platforms like Voices Radio (UK), Radio Flouka (FR), and Toha Radio (Taiwan). Moruka aims to go beyond mere music playback, striving instead to create an experience that stirs the listener’s body and senses. “My Fingerprints” stands as her signature track—a manifesto that dissolves the boundaries between dance and music.
