Swallow is a member of Huckleberry Finn and I listened to his third album, but never ventured much further. Sun Insane is his first album and it sounds somewhat close to the style of Huckleberry Finn, but has a much more subdued sound.
The album explores different genres from folk to ambient rock and it shows a different side to the guitarist. His uptempo songs are a little more interesting than his slower songs, but there is a great amount of small experimentation that succeeds.
It’s definitely a different audio experience, but the nine songs are all interesting to listen to. Fans of Huckleberry Finn will probably enjoy the album as well.

I had no idea this existed! I love Huckleberry Finn, and I’ve always loved the songs Swallow has sung on their albums. Since info for Huckleberry Finn is pretty much all in korean and I can’t understand it at all, may I ask what the other albums of his are called? I’d love to listen to them!

This album is my favorite of his, but his third album is also really, really good. Do have a listen to 두 사람 Two People! On that song and much of that album he’s singing together with Lune. He was the producer of her first album (which is absolutely wonderful, btw), and you can hear him sing a bit on there as well.
