Lucia is an interesting singer because she doesn’t have a lot of personal work. She released an album with Epitone Project called 자기만의 방, but it wasn’t really entirely her own work and provided vocals on other songs. Décalcomanie is a release from Lucia that shows off her impressive vocals over ten songs.

I’m not sure how fluent Lucia is in English, but on “I can’t fly,”Lucia shows off some impressive vocals not heard on her other work. The album bounces from ballad to pop rock. The slower tempos allow her to flex her vocals and show her range. There are still hints of her previous guest spots like on “필로소피” and it’s great to hear her be able to show off her skills.
With ten songs, Lucia can really present herself as a strong vocalist that hasn’t been present before. Even though the song styles are generally more commercial and focus on ballads, she is able to keep attention on herself because of the strength of her voice. It’s great to hear a vocalist with a powerful voice who can manipulate it to her needs on any song she’s presented.
I bought this album a while ago now. I know this artist will explode and easily become an international success. This album as well as the work she has done with Epitone Project is so refreshing!
People will soon discover her work and it’s only a matter of time. I randomly found her work online and didn’t hesitate to buy her album and collaboration works with Epitone Project.
It’s only a matter of time before K Pop becomes repetitive in production and even visual where the audience will become tired.
As for Lucia (심규선) I couldn’t imagine a better time to debut as well as release works that contrasts the booming KPOP industry.
The contrast is obvious. She’s a singer with a rare quality that is currently in the Korean Music Industry. Her sincerity cannot be challenged in the current Korean Music Industry because there isn’t anyone as raw as her with a natural talent. With her age also comes a maturity that comes through so clearly in her lyrics, delivery and most of all a team who knows exactly how to compliment both sincerity and maturity.
I can see she has an impressive team backing her as well as Pastel Music making a smart investment!
Best album I have bought in a very long time.
You should check out her duet called Cactus with woohyun from infinite. It gave me the chills
